The only way to present for virtual participants is by pre-recording presentations and uploading them to the platform following the guidelines available at https://www.cospar-assembly.org/show_infopage.php?info=104 . Interaction will be through the chat wall during the session and continue after the completion of the session, and can include discussions on both virtual and in-person presentations.
The full session recordings, including virtual and in-person talks, are posted on the Assembly platform up to 36 hours from the end of that meeting day.

Due to the large number of parallel sessions, virtual attendance does not include real-time viewing or live interaction. Session recordings, including both virtual and live presentations, will be made available on demand to all participants 36 hours after the end of each congress day.
Both in-person and virtual participants will have:
∙ Full access to the event platform
∙ On demand access to post-event recordings of the scientific parallel sessions
∙ The e-version of abstract book and final program
Deadlines and cancellation procedures:
∙ Registration cancellations received in writing at the COSPAR Athens 2022 Secretariat’s email address ([email protected]) by June 6, 2022, will be accepted and all fees refunded after the Assembly, less a €80 administrative fee.
∙ Cancellations received after June 6, 2022, will not be refunded; however, transfer of your registration to another person is acceptable by June 15th, 2022 (for such a request, please contact the COSPAR Athens 2022 Secretariat in the above e-mail address). No refunds will be made for non-attendance of the Assembly.
∙ In the unlikely event that COSPAR Athens 2022 is cancelled or postponed, personal travel and accommodation costs will not be refunded by the COSPAR Athens 2022 organization (personal arrangements with airlines or hotels may be possible). More information will also be available at the accommodation pages regarding cancellation policy by the end of 2021.
In case you wish to switch your registration from virtual to on-site participation, an outstanding balance will apply depending on your registration category and the applicable fee at the time of the switch. For better onsite service and the avoidance of delays, we highly recommend that the outstanding balance is paid a week before the Assembly, at the latest.
Policy:
∙ For each additional change/switch a 50€ administrative fee will apply.
∙ The deadline for switching from virtual to in-person participation is June 6, 2022
∙ Registration full cancellations received by June 6, 2022, will be accepted and all fees will be refunded within a 2-month period after the Assembly, less a €80 administrative fee.
∙ After June 6, 2022, 100% cancellation fees will apply
In case you wish to switch your registration from in-person to virtual participation, you are entitled to the return of a difference, that will be refunded within a 2-month period after the end of the Assembly and will be calculated according to the applicable fee at the time of registration. In case you need to switch back to in-person participation, your registration will be updated accordingly, and no further actions will be required, except for a previous written notification to COSPAR Secretariat. The deadline for any changes is June 6, 2022. After this date, 100% cancellation fees will apply.
